It’s incredible to notice that every time Haiti is starting to enjoy some stability, out from the blue, there comes a report to keep us Haitians busy fighting back the report.
This new report goes to suggest that the AIDS epidemic in the United States began with a Haitian who emigrated in 1969. But it omitted the key phrase in the initial report that says “after being infected by Americans working in Haiti during that period/
“That is very upsetting to us Haitians, we just cannot tolerate this. Lesly Jacques, director of Radio Haiti Amerique (980-FM) said that people “are asking, why now, after all these years, after we’ve already gone through this, it is politically motivated?”
Yes indeed, it is politically motivated - The question is why?
We should maybe ask “The friends of Haiti”. ‘
The Haitian communities overseas are outraged and among those expressing concern were members of the Association of Haitian Physicians Abroad, who refused to comment on the study except to label it ”junk science.”
Others in the medical community have praised its methodology and labeled the study credible even though that the finding were based, in part, on blood samples taken from about 20 Haitian patients at Jackson Memorial Hospital as far back as 1979.
But what is the government doing and saying about this new drama?
… They are so pale…!
Our Governments throughout our history have always been our biggest weakness as a nation. They have never worked for the people even those who claimed to be working for the mass.
To stop the Haitian drama – Let’s choose the right people and put them at the right place.
