ONLY 9 DAYS LEFT TO MAKE TO MAKE HISTORY!

In a recent letter to Richard Morse Owner of the OLOFFSON hotel and the MUSICAL GROUP RAM, I shared with him his views of the need to elect good candidates to parliament, and I also emphasized the need to elect many GOOD INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES in order to influence the choice of the next prime minister.

My reason for advocating indepedent candidacies is because there are a lot of good people in Haiti who are not members of any political parties, but should
be encouraged to participate in the political process.

At the time I wrote to Richard, I did not expect an independent presidential candidacy. I am therefore very pleased with, and welcome the decision made by
CHARLITO BAKER to stand as an INDEPENDENT PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE in the next elections. His unselfish decision requires a lot of courage and commitment to his ideals and his country. He deserves our respect, encouragement and support.

I have been observing Charlito since his arrest in November 2003. I believe that I know enough of him to accept him as totally independent of the Goup 184,
which has a completely different agenda than his.

In fact, Charlito has been speaking for himself on his own behalf even before February 29, 2004. Charlito identifies with the people, and the people identify
with him. Charlito Baker belongs on the ballot.

Let's then go out and gather those 100.000 signatures needed. Let there be a "FRIENDS FOR CHARLITO MOUVEMENT" all over Haiti and abroad.

Our support involves 2 steps:

1- First, we put him on the ballot
with 100.000 signatures

2- Second, We negociate our vote, making sure
that he is totally independent of the group
184, or what is left of it.

For now, Let's put Charlito on the ballot. His candidacy is an important statement for all of those who don't belong to a political parti, and to all the
haitian people who aspire to real changes in haiti, changes that will come from all of us.

Charlito est aujourd'hui le cri de ralliement pour le changement que nous voulons, travaillant ensemble la main dans la main, sans discrimination. Haiti pour tous les haitiens!
