This video demonstrates how noisy my Roomba 560 is on hardwood floors, it is quiet on carpet. To bad I do not have much carpet. My Roomba Discovery was quieter on the same hardwood floors.
After some modifications the Roomba rattling was tamed. This involved wrapping one side of the brush ends with masking tap and placing a small piece of folded paper towel on the other. UPDATE: The Roomba was replaced by iRobot, for free.
