Covered by Jeff Buckley, Rufus Wainwright and a thousand other people.. here's my version.
thanks so much for all the lovely comments on this one. i'd only played it all the way through a few times before this. i was really worried about uploading it at the time, but i guess it turned out ok after all.
thanks again youtube.

Long before I'd ever heard of John Mayer, Youtube, or digital video cameras, there was weezer. weezer was the 1st band that really rocked my socks off. their 1st two albums were so powerful, yet so introverted and akward. This is one of my favorites from the "blue album", "say it ain't so".
i wanted to try something i wouldn't normally try (as in something thing other than john mayer or weezer)and i saw this killers song covered by "UsefulEuphemism" and loved it... my version is a bit more ambitious (and by ambitious i mean "full of mistakes" lol).. drums, bass, 2nd guitar.. well you'll see.
johnnyonline (that's me) takes a 2nd go at playing Karma Police( from radioheads OK Computer), this time with some better microphones and a guitar that holds tune... but the same shirt
john mayer wrote this song right? so i thought i'd perform it for the internet right? well it's called no such thing... and i like it :) .. also this is before i learned to edit out the crap.. so i prattle on for about a minute and a half before i start playing the song.
[note: i've just watched this for the 1st time since uploading it a while back.. damn it's random.. lol, oh well]
Using my limited jazz skills combined my new found editing skills, i've managed to cobble together a mini lesson on jazz, as per the request of DaMadBlaqDrumma..
-enjoy, leave feed back and PRESS SUBCRIBE!
johnnyOnline is proud to present...
"STICK SPINNING"
no really, just some lame tricks, most of which i couldn't work out so i simply played them for you in slow motion.
ENJOY
The music is one of the tracks i recorded for the "straight-to-bargian -bin" smash hit playstation game, SprintCars: The Road to Knoxville
Todays lesson looks at a couple of the beats John Mayer Trio drummer, Steve Jordan, lays down on the live album, TRY! I'm also trying out a new slicker editing style, cutting out all the umms $ ahhs... let me know what you think.
Here's another weezer cover. The song is called pink triangle. A little messy in parts, but you get the idea. I added the other instruments after I made the video.
I'm Back! finally, after a month long absence i'm back. Here's a little clip recorded with my new microphones and valve mic pre-amps... ooh, feel the warmth! The guitar was overdubbed later using the same valve-pre as a tube overdrive pedal for my strat. Is that enough jargon for ya? POW!
Another lesson, Finally. This one looks at the paradiddle-diddle that many of you have emailed me about. Plus a Little on trad-grip doubles. enjoy.. AND SUBCRIBE DAMN IT!
let's write a sawng!

i'm a little late to the game.. but i loved the song (or at least what i'd heard of it) and this is my version of it. and while i don't have a new bridge as such.. i do have a different solo :)
so this is my contribution.
next time i'll use a click track.. next time
