I was lucky enough to see this 1959 Count Basie Orchestra when they visited the UK during a European tour. This TV clip is from Zurich. I have always felt that this was his finest post-war band. Can anyone name the players please?

Buddy Rich Big Band captured playing a concert in Berlin in 1980. Does anyone know the tune title? Dec 9th....Glenn Franke, trombonist with the band for 4 years has now contacted me to say that the tune is 'Groovin' Hard' Thanks Glenn.
The Duke Ellington Orchestra performing in Turin in 1958. One of his finest periods. Ray Nance is the stand-out soloist on trumpet. I love the way he remains seated - the very essence of'cool'.
