In the heat of the Aussie Outback summer all animals must drink to survive. A very productive method of shooting pigs is to wait in hiding at the water holes and wait for them to come to you. you also get to enjoy the other wild life that come in for a drink. Rifle is a Howa Mountaneer in .308 Win.
With my two Kelpie sheepdogs I head out after wild pigs with a camera monted on my helmet. Sal (brown dog) Max (black and Tan) enjoy a break from mustering sheep to hunt for pigs.
Young Samber Stag I caught out in the open while out hunting for wild dogs in the Victorian High country. As I had a freezer full of venison he was left alone to hopfully develope into a nice trophy.
