Asilah or Arzila (Arabic: ?????? ???????) is a city situated on the northwest tip of Morocco with a history back to 1500 B.C.
Asilah served as a base for pirates in the 19th and 20th centuries.

The remains of the Badii Palace is where gold, marble and onyx were traded for their weight in sugar by the most celebrated Saadian ruler, Ahmed el Mansour (1578 - 1603). All that remains are devastated mud walls that enclose a large square. all the onyx, marble and stucco were removed in 1696 on Moulay Ismail's orders to decorate his royal palaces in Meknes.
