This is a worship song I wrote. I added a portion of an old Roger Whitaker song to fill it out a little (the "For You Are Beautiful" part is from his song The Last Farewell).
From 1994, this was our church music ministry performing at Duke University. Here we are performing the Ron Kenoly song, Jesus Is Alive. The audio is a little distorted and unbalanced, but it is still fun to watchnearly 15 years later.
Mighty To Save, performed by the praise band at my church. This is the coolest my guitar has ever looked, catching the stage lights and all. I'm playing acoustic and adding a tenor harmony as our pastor's wife - the worship leader - sings lead.
Filmed at Trinity Presbyterian Church in mid-March 2008 as our family gathered to hear my Dad preach and to celebrate his 80th birthday. My camera was making a distracting noise at times because I had it on zoom and it was constantly refocusing. But I'm glad I was able to capture this moment, especially part 2 where Dad shares family memories.
Sandi, our friend from way back, contacted us via the blog. We decided to upload this old video of her in a concert at the church we all used to attend.
I was playing this today as I watched my 15 month old son playing after recovering from a brief illness. I recorded it just to keep a record of the chord pattern, but I kind of like how it turned out. I captured an emotion here.
Just a couple of weeks before his first birthday, my son had his first haircut. His Aunt Ginger trimmed his hair while he sat in my lap. Several family members looked on.

My daughter singing with the children's choir at a revival meeting. My daughter is the very un-Baptist-like one in orange almost dancing throughout the song.
