Astroland got a reprieve from destruction and is supposed to operate for one more Summer season in 2008. I was there in 2007 and it was jumpin, plenty of business. I believe major development plans for the boardwalk have no place for Astroland, sad. This spot for the amusement park in Coney Island is from around 1980.

This is the Huss made 'Breakdance' at Astroland Amusement Park in Coney Island, NY. It's probably the best operated Breakdance in the US. You'd have to go to a European funfair to find a better one.
