Brading Roman Villa on the Isle of Wight is undergoing a new and extensive dig headed up by Professor Sir Barry Cunliffe. Alan Titchmarsh officially opened the dig on 3rd August 2008. The dig will take place each August for the next five years.

This item was once, I'm sure, on display before you went in. I think the inferrance is that it is a genuine survival, but I doubt that very much if so. Don't know why this camera makes all those wobbling noises. It does it all the time and you only hear it on playback.
The scene from The Brading Experience every child remembers! It's pretty crappy, actually, but I was about eight when I first saw this and it was magical for me then.
