Linda received 25mg Enbrel from 27 gauge 1/2 inch needle from the standard kit. This was injected straight into the space between C6 and C7. Here are her first baby steps.
I am doing exercises to try to recover her speech. We have found success in using "Stimulous Triggers" which seem to boost her response. She seems so proud when she can make some words.

Linda Lee got her 2nd Enbrel injection into the back of her neck yesterday. This is day 9 from the 1st shot. 10 days ago she was mute. We are doing very basic speech exercises to see if she can recover control over vocalization. She is making small but important gains.
So, here it is. Overweight and diagnosed with RA, I am starting injections in hopes of getting my body back on track and get off Prednisone and drop this weight. Scary stuff for a 34 year old.
