The Cedar River is already well above flood stage -- and not expected to crest in Cedar Rapids until Friday morning. This video is shot in and around the downtown area. The bridges shown in the footage -- 1st, 2nd and 3rd Avenue -- will be closed tonight at 8 p.m. The 3rd Ave Bridge (nearest the Linn County Courthouse) was closed at the time the video was shot.
