This video was shot in the summer of 2007 aboard a commercial whale watch vessel out of Plymouth, MA. The two whales shown - a mother called "Roswell" and her as yet unnamed calf - came on a voluntary close-approach to the stationary vessel, thrilling spectators with a close encounter of the cetacean kind.
