Andrew Bird playing imitosis live at Alverno College on 4/21/07 in Milwaukee. Taken with a Kodak camera, it was kinda hard to hold it steady. I had 3rd row center for this video.

This a music video/short film i had to create for my media studies class (in High School). It was filmed with a digital camera (Sony cybershot). This video is also not intended to be an interpretation of the lyrics. I felt this song sounded really well as a soundtrack to this story. The purpose of this project was to use film techniques/code and conventions.

Bumbershoot 2007.
I accidentally skipped this one earlier.
Sorry the video is terrible and there's lots of heads in the way, but the audio is good, for those of you who love live audio like myself.
And if there's demand I'll cut out the audio and make an MP3 of all the songs I taped.
This is the Art movie Cam and I made for Mass Communication class. The editing took about 10 minutes for every 5 seconds worth of film. The song is "Imitosis" by Andrew Bird. Special thanks to Alex and Allie. Enjoy
Andrew Bird performing Imitosis at Kent State University. Enjoy!
P.S. I filmed it with a digital camera so the audio and video quality isn't that good. There is also a couple times where the sound cuts out for a second.

Basically the idea is Harry, Ron and Hermione are explaining how they are struggling to believe there is more out there than just this, that there is something to keep going for.
None of this is my own, not the characters, the clips or the song. They all belong to there respective owners and I am making no profit from this video.

Andrew Bird put on an outstanding show, recreating his songs by recording loops of himself and utilizing what seemed to be dozens of pedals and gramophones to create layers upon layers of amazingness while switching back and forth between many instruments. Oh yeah, and he can whistle. Damn.
Andrew Bird at The Riviera Theatre Chicago 4-20-07! Sorry it's so short...I had to stand on an extremely sketchy ledge to get this footage and a Riviera Theatre man made me get down!
