Emirates Airlines Boeing 777 jumpseat landing @ runway 20R, Changi International Airport SIN/WSSS in a afternoon thunderstorm. You can clearly see the "rain line" in the middle of the runway coming to you! Typical tropical weather!

Getting ready to take-off in a Global Express business jet and forgetting to properly latch the jumpset, as we rotate, the seat colapses sending me on my ass. Upon landing it is discovered that jumpseat has been destroyed and ripped through part of the galley door causing $20,000 in damage since the jumpseat can not be fixed and is tossed into the garbage.
