Ein kleiner Film über Burg(ruinen) im Languedoc, ein Gebiet im Südwesten Frankreichs. Viele Burgen dienten einst den verfolgten Katharern ("Ketzer") als Versteck, mit dem Fall von Montségur waren die Katharer fast besiegt (200 der letzten bestiegen die Scheiterhaufen), ihre Religion wurde aber heimlich noch weiter praktiziert.
