International pressure is mounting on Zimbabwe. Gordon Brown, the British prime minister, has said the UK will toughen sanctions against members of the Zimbabwean government.
This includes travel bans and a freeze on assets of named members of the regime.
Zimbabwe's cricket team are also banned from touring the UK next year.
