On a lazy summer afternoon tragedy struck when a couple of kids playing with matches set their house on fire and died as a result. Shreveport, Louisiana. Summer of 1992
A child spilled copying machine fluid on a heater and causes a massive fire that destroyed the school and spreads to a nearby structure. NOFD personnel worked quickly to prevent further extension of this conflagration that occurred in May of 1985.
A flashover occurs as the first engine arrives on the scene. A 2nd alarm was sounded because of the exposures and intensity of the fire. Shreveport, Louisiana 2-6-95
We ran across this fire just as were about to leave NO. It was some kind of really bad electrical problem - That is for sure. It took 2 engines, a ladder, the dist.Chief and Flying Squad to handle.

Heard an explosion and the lights went off in my home. Looked out the back door and heard siren. Then grabbed camcorder and went out front door to capture a house fire 3 houses down my street.
