Homemade motor 1 electro magnet on the base and 2 permanents on the rotating shaft. Twin cams operate a cam follower which in turn briefly closes a set of points at the proper time. I built this motor about 10 years ago
Homemade vertical design motor Blank cd flywheel electro magnet lifts metal slug on connecting rod. Points are towards bottom of motor which pivot and slide to make and break electrical contact.
