A Ride on HSR GM Artic (TA60-102N) 518206 on route 51 University. I rode it on a complete round trip from Hamilton GO Centre, through McMaster to the loop, then back, on the morning of January 26, 2006.
The bus was retired in April 2007, replaced by New Flyer DE60LFRs.
*Note that this is the ONLY GM Artic video on Youtube.*
Ride aboard Mississauga Transit 0858, a 2008 New Flyer D60LFR on its first day in service on route 67 Cantay on Thursday, February 14, 2008.
My footprints were the second ones past the rear door; mt0603's were first.
A ride aboard 1923 TTC Peter Witt 2894 at the Halton County Radial Railway Museum. Ride from Rockwood Station to the west loop, then to Meadowvale and teh east loop, returning to Rockwood and Stop 92.
It was too dark for pictures, so I shot a series of videos at BCC. You can see every kind of Orion that BT operates (Is, Vs and VIs), as well as D40LFs and an LFS. A GO Transit D4500 passes in the first part. Enjoy!
Ride in the back of a T1 car from Bloor-Yonge to Museum, via Lower Bay. This ride had very audible announcements, and I encountered the same guy later that day.
My cat, Smookie, decided it would be fun to jump up and walk around on our 1/87 scale HO gauge layout.
She did not seem bothered by the GP38-2 hitting her tail, nor was she concerned about the brand new Athearn Genesis covered hopper plowing into her. She seemed surprised that she knocked it over later!
A ride in the last car of a T1 set from Museum to Yonge, via Lower Bay during TTC's tunnel construction which has Bloor-Danforth trains skipping Bay station and running down to Museum, where passengers must transfer to continue.
Ride 0707 on route 6 Woodlands on September 20, 2007. The bus is part of a recently delivered order of 12 to replace the 1997 Orion IIs. They are used primarily for the GO shuttle routes, but 0707 made an appearance on the 6 today.
The obnoxious beeping is the Presto card reader.
Mississauga Transit Orion V 9112 caught fire today in the on-street terminal on Rathburn Road. The fire was put out nearly right after it started.
***The bus was unoccupied, and no one was hurt***
