Weeds by Life Of Agony. Originally I didn't like this song. Thought they'd sold out and all that. The song has really grown on me though. Faked a lead on this one. It sucks, oh well. Pro-Pain covered this song on their "Run For Cover" album a few years back. I should post up a cover of their cover also...
The song that got me into Pro Pain way back when. Have enjoyed every album since. They really need to tour the states sometime soon.
Fun song to play. Great lyrics. Comments welcome.
Little classic rock. I've always loved Joe Walsh's playing. This is one of my favorites.
I made a couple changes to shorten it up. I cut the drum break in the middle down to about 10 seconds (originally it's almost a minute long) and I cut off the fadeout. Nothing major.
Few mistakes once again, hey I never said I was the best. Comments welcome.
Yeah, I really like Pro Pain. One of my favorites to play. I actually played a lead on this one. You notice I didn't say I played THE lead on this one. I'm still working on it. Kinda improvised the middle. Anyway, the 3rd Pro-Pain cover I've made, probably not the last. Enjoy

A quick vid of my new toy. My newest guitar is a Dean ML X. This is a weird mix of tunes to kinda show what it's capable of. It would have been an even weirder mix if my camera battery had been charged. I had a Tesla song lined up and a Ramones... those will have to wait. The Pantera song playing over the closing shot, I've vowed to learn it on this guitar... we'll see.
Comments welcome. Another Pro-Pain great song with Ice T. Broke out my old Kramer it's pickup is a bit muddy not sure if I'll use it for recording like this again. Not bad though, you can tell what's being played at least.
Comments welcome. Second video made. Me playing "Rising Son" by Clutch. Simple song, except for the breakdown. Didn't have my wah for that part but it works mostly.
Dirty Rotten Imbeciles Classic tune. Haven't played this song in years and it shows. I ran through it 3 times before recording it. Camera was about to die. It's sloppy but oh well. I've seen D.R.I. several times and they aren't the most technical of players, but it's always a good show. I'll leave it sloppy, just like D.R.I. Comments welcome.
Me playing along to Pro Pains "Let Sleeping Dogs Lie" from their "The Truth Hurts" album. A few mistakes but not bad. My first video, mostly to critique myself, thought I'd post it up. I'm mostly a rhythm player, do play a few leads but don't learn them that easy. Comments welcome.
Great White??? Yes, Great White. They had some great songs. This is one of my favorites. Came across this song again a while back and decided to learn it. Did alright, I think.
Mainly recorded this to test how well my clean channel cut through recording this way. I think I need to turn the computer speakers down a bit. Otherwise not bad.

Yes, Def Leppard. I played this song the other day and it's been running through my head ever since. Maybe if I record it and post it it'll leave...
Anyway, it's actually a cool song. This is from their on through the night album. Def Leppard had three good albums then became a pop band. Anyway, here it is.

Yes I know they are tuned down to "B" for this song. I learned it like this though. Anyway, great tune. I need to get a 7 string so I can play this correctly. Comments welcome.
Classic Metallica. I've always loved this song. It's a bit punkish with the main riff. Fast and in your face. Kramer again. Still sounds a bit muddy to me. Oh well. Couple mistakes. Thing is my warm up playing this song was spot on, but I wasn't recording it... pissed me off. Oh well.

Realized I've not been posting any Suicidal... What the hell is wrong with me. One of my favorite bands ever, still listen to them all the time.
Anyway, here's War Inside My Head. Beginnings a bit sloppy. Gets better though, I think. Enjoy
Classic song from Helmet. Drop D tuning. You'll see me lean over at the beginning of the song to turn the speakers down. It's not that noticeable in the recording, but later, because I can't hear the music over my guitar I lose track of where I am and start messing up. Oh well, it's during the kinda free form stuff towards the end. It kinda fits.
