Hang solo improvisation played on my panart hang . Sorry, the video is filmed in 16:9 and so the hang looks a little bit like an egg. But it is a original PanArt Hang . Some people called these wonderfull instrument Hangdrum . The hangbuilders and i call it only hang .
After a busking festival in Osnabrück called " Goldene Säge " a lot of musicians meet to a spontan Jam Session. I play the PanArt Hang. We play together the first time and the result is a lot of fun. This is only a short cutout from the Session. They are more than 5 guitars, udu drum, didgeridoo, cajon , voices and so on....
A few days ago we meet for the first time at a mini Hang - Out in Münster. Rainer (sazas) play an Integral Hang , Uwe (bongo) also on Integral Hang and I (funky) play a second generation Hang. We had a lot of fun and this improvisation is recorded without we meet before or make music together before. It shows that Hang is a nice universal language. More coming soon!
Another very nice Session at the Hangout UK 2008. It was a pleasure for me to play the PanArt Hang with so lovely people. A special honor was to play the Hang together with the nice boys and girls from Wa - Dohm and also the well known Hang Player Davide Swarup .

This is my new Panart Hang. It is a overtone Scale and has a very special tuning. It is a not equally tempered scale and so for the first moment a little bit odd. But it is not out of tune. I have this hang only a few days and this are the first steps on it.
