Versión en francés del clásico de Mecano 'Mujer contra Mujer', del lp Descanso Dominical, fue un exitazo en Francia llegando al número 1 durante varias semanas en 1989.
French version of the classic 'Mujer contra Mujer' from Descanso Dominical, it was a huge hit in France reaching number one for several weeks in 1989.
Formed out of Glasgow-based 'Friends Again' (you can check its classic 'State of the Art' in youtube), moved towards a more sophisticated, funkier sound, typical white-soul-R&B-pop of the second half of the eighties, with perhaps more style than substance, but this is a good single, very catchy, it was released in 1988.

From one of the most tragically underrated albums of the eighties, Shakespeare Alabama. A near-perfect debut with delivers Byrds/REM-like tunes in a power-pop vein, with celestial melodies and unforgettable tunes. In a perfect World "All the myths on Sunday" or "Here I stand", or in fact any other song in this album, would be all time classics and radio staples.
