An afternoon spent at St Denys, just North of Southampton. Originally to see the Saturdays Angerstein - Wool sand empties and to see a VSOE ecs to Southampton Eastern docks. The sand move was caped but the ecs went ahead, not with out its problems.

Hi Welcome to the seventh installment of Moeoirs of Eastleigh. This episode was filmed on December 29th 2006 and mainly has shots of the 442's at speed through Eastleigh with some other classes thrown in for good measure. I spent most of the day photagraphing the freight trains so did not capture many on film. Rate and comment.

Part eight in the series of Memoirs of Eastleigh.
Again this was shot in 2002, also the video is a bit shaky (hope you have your sea sickness pills) and I am heard to talk over several areas. I dont like doing it but hey I no longer do it on my latest vids.
My first trip of the year to Eastleigh. I didnt take the video camera with me this time but I took my little Sony P150 Camera and took some movies using that. Heres the first part for you.
A 12 coach slamdoor unit runs into the carriage sidings at Poole and 2408 leaves Poole with a service to Weymouth and then we see the 12 coach slammer leqave the sidings for platform 1. September 22nd 2004
The second part of 3 vidseos catalogging the locos arriving for engineering works between Hamworthy & Holton Heath.

By this time of the early morning it was starting to get misty.
Part nine of the ongoing look back at Eastleigh. Thhis time its 2003. Featured are Class 60's, 442's 66's 59's & 57's.
Again the quality of this is not as good as I would like it to be.

Like the title says. A shot of a Desiro and some Wessies working coming into Poole on a late night in 2006 (can not remember when exactly)whilst waiting for a pair of 31's on the UT2 Train to Weymouth.
Ok this video is from February 2007 but contains footage that has not been uploaded as it was on my other Digital Pal camera. Ihave got software to grab these images now so this is what will be going on over the next few weeks. 2412+2410 arrive and Depart Poole on the final day of operation for the 442's with South West trains
