Josef Weiss' piano arrangement of Bach's Passacaglia for organ, from the Passacaglia and Fugue in C Minor, BWV 582. I had a photocopy of this arrangement for a long time, but knew nothing about it. I actually found some information about Weiss here:

The late, great Alexei Sultanov plays Prokofiev during "Hal Gurnee's Network Time Killers" on Late Night With David Letterman circa 1989. (Sultanov is likely the most over-qualified person to ever perform during this segment.) Paul messes up the transition. Then we get a better-than-average Top Ten List.
This is me playing with myself, so to speak. I had previously recorded the orchestra part (more or less) on my keyboard. This is me playing the piano part (more or less) while the orchestra part played back. Let me know what you think, and what I can do to improve.
This is certainly no substitute for the original, but I've always been intrigued by transcriptions of this nature. This is the Cavatina from Beethoven's Opus 130 String Quartet arranged for solo piano by Charles-Valentin Alkan. Let me know what I can do to improve.

The Great Gate of Kiev (Bogatyr Gates) from Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Petrovich Mussorgsky, played on my dad's synthesizer. This is kind of what I imagine the different parts would sound like, using the basic sounds of the synth, anyway.

My arrangement of "Venus: The Bringer of Peace" from The Planets, Op. 32, by Gustav Holst (1874-1934). I arranged the whole suite for piano sometime in junior high. (As you might be able to guess, I wasn't the most popular kid in school.) I don't exactly play this much and I recorded it in one take, so don't mind the flubs.

Variations on America by Charles Ives, originally for organ. I wrote an arrangement of this piece when I was in junior high or high school, but never really tried to play it until now. I still seemed to mess it up plenty.
Two arrangements of "Ich ruf' zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ," by J.S. Bach. The original piece is for organ, BWV 639, from Das Orgelbüchlein ("The Little Organ Book"). The first arrangement is by the great German pianist Wilhelm Kempff (1895-1991). The second arrangement, starting at about 2:50, is by Ferruccio Busoni (1866-1924). Which do you prefer?
