I use a tripod as zero cost steadicam. I found out unfolding the tripod gives more polar moment inertia. I slightely modified my tripod. I put an exra weight in the central tube. I think it could be stil improveed by adding weight at every foot end of the tripod. I will do more testing and post another video later.
This is a full lap of the tourist Nordschleife in a BMW M3 (Ring Taxi).
The Game is rFactor with a few addons. In front of me is another M3 driven by AI. AI skill is set to 120%. But AI does a lot of mistakes so it's easy to follow. I pass the AI twice but I let him pass me again. So you have something interresting on the screen but the road and the trees.
