One of many bits of wanton destruction and mayhem from the somewhat obscure 1974 cop flick starring Alan Arkin, James Caan, Loretta Swit, Paul Koslo, Alex Rocco and Valerie Harper.
Great opening fight scene set in a brothel from Brian Trenchard-Smith's 1988 sequel to the '87 action flick "Day of the Panther" starring Edward John Stazak as Jason Blade. As cool as this is now, it must have been jaw-dropping back in the day.
It's "Jaws" on wheels! A satanic car terrorizes a small Southwest town in this awesome 1977 vehicular horror film, "The Car". Stars James Brolin and R.G. Armstrong.
Great 1973 Bud Spencer cop flick, that started a quadogy, about Inspector Rizzo, a tough, two-fisted Naples detective who does things his own way and refuses to carry a gun. After getting framed for murder and engaging in a frozen-fish fight, Flatfoot brings down a drug ring. Directed by Steno.
I'm a sucker for "Mad Max" rip-offs and this 1991 sequel to Ron Marchini's 1990 film "Omega Cop" is admittedly budget starved and relentlessly cheesy, but I'd say that's part of it's charm.
Great, original trailer for the 1977 Canadian "Ilsa" knock-off, "The Tigress" (aka "The Tigress of Siberia"). This trailer barely hints at the jawdropping onslaught of gore, sleaze and cheap action this gem has to offer.
Vastly underappreciated 1984 Robert Ginty / Fred Williamson actioner sporting action, nudity, gore, a chainsaw duel, an amazingly cheesy title theme and a complete disregard for the personal safety of the actors.
Note the observation window in the torture room!
Ultra-rare 1978 Brian Trenchard-Smith film about stunts and rock! Austrailian stunt legend Grant Page hooks up with Los Angeles rock band Sorcery for a "Death Wish At 120 Decibels"! Absolutely priceless stuff.
Jacky Cheung and Tony Leung star in this frequently hilarious 1992 send-up of Hong Kong gang/crime films. Directed by Blackie Ko, who has been responsible for many of the popular films being skewered.
Franco Prosperi's somewhat controversial 1984 animals-on-PCP horror opus is definitely one of the most outlandish, gory and often bizarre entries in the "nature's revenge" genre and one of my all time favorites. While the two mondo-style scenes are rather unpleasant the rest of the movie is a blast with surprisingly elaborate animal scenes. Stars Lorraine De Selle, John Aldrich and Ugo Bologna.
Awesome 1972 "mother nature's revenge" film from director William F. Claxton. Mankind's experiments on mother nature's creatures has gone awry once again, this time creating giant, bloodthirsty rabbits! Damn, I love this flick. Perfect for a triple bill with "Food of the Gods" and "Day of the Animals". Stars Stuart Whitman, Janet Leigh, Rory Calhoun and DeForest Kelley
The new trailer for the classic 1974 H.B. Halicki ode to vehicular destruction "Gone in 60 Seconds". Don't even THINK about mentioning that crap remake.
Frank Agrama's cool, gory 1981 take on the wonderful European "Dawn of the Dead" knock-offs of the era. Not content to sport mere zombies, Agrama one ups the formula with mummies running amok and ripping people to bits. And the whole thing is caused by supermodels, damn them!
A chase sequence from Amir Shervan's pant-wettingly funny 1989 follow-up to his 1987 classic "Hollywood Cop". Stars Robert Z'Dar, Matt Hannon, Mark Frazer, Gerald Okamura, Melissa Moore and Krista Lane.
