My version of Ironic. A lil diff than the recording I'm playing to. While making this video I am freezing in my game room. I think you can actually see my shivering haha.
Night Moves by Bob Seger on the acoustic guitar. Thought I'd dust it off to play this song by an awesome band.
Guitar: Gibson Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic
Tuning: Standard
Made before I started recording straight into my PC. My version of Evanescence's Bring Me To Life on guitar. Sorta figured it out by ear. Didn't really practice it much, as you can tell. :-)
Tuning: Standard
Made before I started recording straight into my PC. Stupid Girl by Cold (Terry Balsamo's former band). Mistakes are unavoidable when the camera is on haha. Tried to get both guitar parts in as best as I could.
This is the lil guy in my Ibanez collection (RG2EX2). Haven't made a video with the RG1570 yet. Payin homage to CSI with my Crime Scene strap lol.
Tuning: Drop C
OLD vid, OLD guiutar, OLD amp, OLD house. I play it a diff way now with much better/tighter sound.
Cloud Nine by Evanescence on guitar.
Tuning: Db (C#)
I can't do the pinch harmonics yet...
You may have to turn your bass down. For some reason I can't get it to stop thumping through the camcorder. :)
Made before I started recording straight into my PC. I now trem pick this song as well. Me playing Sugar on guitar. Just playing around while my guitar was still in Drop C. Don't mind my 2nd monster cat. He was jealous that his brother got on a video and wanted in on the action. Not a SOAD fan tho, from what it looks like. lol. Nothing wonderful.
Tuning: Drop C
Comatose by Skillet on guitar. My editing program fought me the whole way on this video, so its not lined up 100% but oh well. Yes, that IS a capo on the 1st fret. The Viper is tuned to Drop Bb and I didn't want to fool around and retune it, so I slapped the capo on and Presto...we're in Drop B tuning. :-)
Guitar: ESP Viper 400
Tuning: Drop B
Equipment: DigiTech RP 250, Audacity
For my girl Sarah. One day we'll do a version of My Medicated Chapstick
My version of Amy Lee's acoustic song "Cartoon Network" Haven't played my acoustic in at least 6 months and thought this would be a good song to warm up with. Fun song. You can see the one of a kind drawing Rocky Gray did for me in the background (bonus!!)
Standard Tuning
Made before I started recording straight into my PC. Lose Control by Evanescence. First split screen video for me, as well as first video with the DigiTech RP250. Still learning how to play around with all of this, so the sound isn't perfect.
Used the Ibanez RG1570
Tuning: Db (C#)
Made before I started recording straight into my PC. Older I Get by Skillet on guitar
I just learned this song like 10min before I made this video. :-)
Older vid. Made before I started recording straight into my PC. Now played with a new guitar. Much tighter. Will repost soon.
Me playing Call Me When You're Sober on guitar by Evanescence. I had just recently moved when I made this vid, so ignore the boxes in the background lol.
Tuning: Drop D
If I Had $1,000,000 by Barenaked Ladies. Saw them quite a few years back & this was the version they played live. Just fooling around here with an old favorite. lol. There's 3 (4) chords in the whole song.
Guitar: Gibson Epiphone DR-100 Acoustic
Tuning: Standard; Capo 2nd fret
Made before I started recording straight into my PC. Me playing The Only One by Evanescence on guitar. Thought I'd change up the look of my vids. A lil diff from the CD. One of the easier songs on TOD, but still a favorite.
Tuning: Drop C
Evanescence's Lithium on guitar. I recorded the song with two guitars but made the video as if it were one guitar part. That is me playing both parts to the song.
Tuning: Drop Bb
Guitar: ESP LTD Viper 400
Equipment: DigiTech RP 250, Audacity
Made before I started recording straight into the PC. Three Days Grace It's All Over on Ibanez RG2EX2. Lil sloppy, I don't sweep the solo and the last 12 seconds are improv. You can kinda see my Sick Puppies autographed poster and personalized drumhead :-)
Tuning Drop C
Line 6 Spider III
Made before I started recording straight into my PC. Just Like You by Three Days Grace on the Ibanez RG1570. I swear it is an awesome blue paint job lol. Just can't see it. Learned this song about an hour ago.
