our group of Sows learned some tricks on voice commands over the past month. not all are equally talented though. native Dutch speaker and thus commands.
Well we felt sad since we bought a few more petshop rescuee's late last January so after 2 months of planning, designing and working on the off weekends Pigpen, Mom, Dad and me present the piggies our new cage! See their first steps in it!
there's also part 2 and 3 upcoming!
Sorry for the bad Angle but I didn't want to disturb her in the middle of the night doing this. I was just half expecting this to happen so I luckily left a small night light on but that may have triggered her to get the babies too.
Part 2 of the introduction to their new 2.5 by 0.70 metre cage.
The white black-masked male is also put in (under supervision as always) to make a small trip in the cage and we follow his kinda bugging antics :)

Finally while we were in bed our cavy decided to give birth. LKuckily I suspected this and left a small light & the webcam ready on my remote admin livingroom PC and was just on time to catch the birth of the third young.
Our Cavy named "Squirrel" in the 8ft cage shows that they do like it very much.
made very simple, half a kitchen towel, make 4 holes in the corners, some small rope and voila, cavy fun in it and under it!
My home made Cavy tunnel they apparently like. They also have a couple of hours each day in a 4x2grid space to run around. (The cage was the biggest we could find)
LOL our male pig Franky is always very happy when he can run around in the big cage with the ladies... well when we introduced the whole cage with a new colorful fur basket we saw him doing something not very common, a roll over popcorn, only other I've seen doing this is Queenie

Young piggies especially like to jump up in a weird way... just their expression of happiness, normally they make some "wheek" sounds with it.
Here's a closeup of Lucky doing it.
All ok, the male back in his cage and the sows tired after playing in their new home.
Yes a small curious one (Mouse) got a spank from her big "auntie" (Queenie) at the end.
