Congressman Tim Ryan from Ohio ripped the Administration a new one today in a speech on the house floor, this is a must see. He was responding to why young people think the Administration will institute a draft despite their denials.
On Sunday's "60 Minutes" former DCI George Tenet speaks out strongly about how his "slam dunk" remark was taken out of context and how he was made into the WMD scapegoat. Tenet's new book, At the Center of the Storm: My Years at the CIA, is due out on April 30. Hopefully sparks will fly ? it's about time we re-examine the pre-war lies.
Fox reported that WTC 7 had collapsed before it came down:
"...we are getting word from New York that another building has collapsed and we understand this is a 47 story building ... is that smoke coming from this third collapse?"
"Take a look at that right hand of the screen."
"It's going down right now."
At 21:54 GMT on 9/11/2001 the BBC announced that WTC 7 had collapsed. There was just one problem with this news: WTC 7 did not collapse until 22:20 GMT.
Monday on "Verdict," Dan Abrams responded to Karl Rove's angry and condescending 5-page letter regarding the media attention Abrams has been paying to the case of former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman and his apparent political prosecution..
"It's blowin' boy." ... "Keep your eye on that building, it'll be coming down soon." ... "The building is about to blow up, move it back." ... "Here we are walking back. There's a building, about to blow up..."
With "The Decider's" decision to wait until next year to announce a change in Iraq strategy, Jack wonders why there is suddenly no rush to change course. Perhaps it has something to do with the ISG Report that bought Mr. Bush the precious political cover he desperately needed after the resounding election results. At least Jack brings us some comic relief with his new nickname for FOX News.
