Inger Lise Rypdal sings the song which was to come second in the Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix final of 1982. This performance comes from the semifinal heat, which she won.
Nick Borgen, a Norwegian associated more with the Swedish music scene, sings La musikken leve (Let the music live) at the 1984 Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix, finishing in fifth place overall.

Arnold B. Family sing La oss feire livet at the 1995 Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix. The song came second, beaten by Secret Garden's Nocturne (which went on to win the Eurovision Song Contest 1995).
