Another Japanese song about our hometown in the country. It tells of the beautiful things found back home and nowhere else.
This song is sang only by the girls of our chorus.
We sing the Hall version of Canon by Johann Pachebell, which is an adaptation of a psalm. Our singing is accompanied by piano and violin. Even without the singing it is beautiful!
Negai is a song created by high school children from Hiroshima, Japan. They wonder what it would have been like if the thing that was dropped on their city wouldn't have been an atomic bomb, but notes and books for study. Will the world ever know peace?
We sang at the Sentosai, a festival at a local shrine in Beppu, some traditional Japanese songs. The audience sang the songs with us and was really enthusiastic! Which, off course, made us even more enthusiastic. The song Akatombo is about your hometown and childhood and it remembers the dragonflies at sunset.
In cooperation with the APU brass band!!! Thank you so much!
Who does not know this famous song by John Lennon about (all) the wrongs in the world? Sing it with us!
The people behind the negai-project aim to translate and sing this song in as many languages as possible, to spread the wish for peace. We sing it for you in Vietnamese, Chinese and English
Due to uploadlimitations on Youtube, we had to split the video of our performance at the Tenkusai in two.
During the Tenkusai, we tried to show you different songs from the countries of the members of our chorus. To make it more interesting we presented it in the form of a trip around Asia. Enjoy!
One of our members made this video to help us promote ourselves and our performance. You can see some of the past things we have done while listening to our music.
This is one of our earlier practices of the song: One Song the World can Sing.
The harmony still isn't quite there, so we still had a lot of practice to do at that time ^_^ For the result, look in the folder of Deai.
